Known as the pagan Thanksgiving, Mabon marks the Autumn Equinox, when day and night are equal, making it a time of balance, equality and harmony. This is usually around the 22nd of September.
In ancient times Mabon was a celebration of the second harvest (Lughnasadh was the first) when farmers gathered hearty foods like gourds, pumpkins, grapes and apples.

Modern Mabon celebrations are a time to give thanks for the abundance of Mother Earth - both literally and spiritually. It’s also a good time to reflect on the Wheel of the Year, recognising your successes and letting go of the things that did not serve you during the past twelve months.

✨These are handmade to order. Please allow 2-3 working days for your item to be made before dispatch. The standard size is 17cm. This is my most popular and ordered size, but other sizes can be made. If you require another size, please leave a note in the special instructions box at checkout* If there is no note left, the standard size will be made.
