The second Sabbat of the year celebrates the coming end of Winter and the beginning of the growing cycle in the Northern Hemisphere. The long, cold months are nearly over, and the first stirrings of Spring can be seen in the blooming of daffodils and the slow emergence of animals from their hibernation.
The bleakest part of the cold season is now behind us. This is a cross-quarter day—midway between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox and is celebrated from 1st Feb.

✨These are handmade to order. Please allow 2-3 working days for your item to be made before dispatch.

The standard size is 17cm. This is my most popular and ordered size, but other sizes can be made.

✨The Gemstones used are…

🤍Clear Quartz (Frosted)
The Greek word for Quartz is ‘Krystallos’, which is reminiscent of crystals of ice. The ice is beginning to melt and this gemstone is the master healer.. an all healing, all intention stone. Perfect to help clear your mind and aura.
💚Aventurine
This light green stone is in perfect alignment with Brigids Day as it represents the green of life popping through the soil after a long winter.
It also helps us heal old wounds and trauma, allowing us to open up to things to come.
🧡Sunstone
After the cold, dark winter, Sunstone brings warmth and life back into our lives. It also boosts confidence and vitality for the coming year. Brigid is linked to fire, and fire to the sun. As the sun slowly returns, sunstone is a very appropriate Imbolc Gemstone.
💜Lepidolite
Brigid is one of the people of Denann who are also believed to be of elemental or Fae origin. Lepidolite is also known as the ‘Fairy Crystal’, which is especially potent for Imbolc. It also represents connection, harmony and love.
🩵Blue Lace Agate
A beautiful Ombolc colour, it’s really helpful in refreshing the spirit. It’s a great stone for starting over after winter. With spring on the way, it gives us the energy to get moving again.

Please note that the gemstone colours are a little more subtle in reality. The gemstones against the black box makes the colours pop more in the pic. (My camera just picks them up more).
