Firstly, is it Hecate or Hekate? That’s totally down to you. HEKATE (with a K) is closer to the transliteration of the name of this goddess directly from Greeks. The spelling of HECATE (with a C) was used by the Romans.

Hekate is among the most significant figures in the worlds of witchcraft and ancient Greek mythology. This protective deity was believed to cast spells to guide those who journeyed through the underworld. Being the goddess of crossroads, she was also thought to watch over all directions and paths.
