Aphrodite is the ancient Greek goddess of love, beauty, passion, and procreation, known as one of the twelve Olympian deities residing on Mount Olympus. Known for her immense beauty and ability to provoke desire, she was born from sea foam near Cyprus and is synonymous with the Roman goddess Venus.
She was worshipped as a protector of sailors as well as a goddess of fertility and war.
